Abstract:
This collection is an oral history of David Taylor conducted by Professor Beth Taylor in 2010 about his experiences at Brown University and his military service during the Vietnam War. During his thirteen-month tour, First Lieutenant Taylor flew more than seven hundred missions. From 1969 to 1971, David then served as part of Helicopter Marine Experimental-1 (HMX-1), an elite squadron whose primary mission was to fly the President of the United States.
